More complex in composition than black and white, Jef uses colour to frame a work for that instant connection with the viewer. Soft pastels to saturated fluros.

Inspired by the likes of the controversial, sometimes troubled, colour fashion and portrait photographers of the 60's through early 2000's - think Guy Boudin, Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel - it is used to create a mood and to associate an emotion.
